New Feature Implementation & Termination『JapanKnowledge Lib』
**** Information from JapanKnowledge ****
Thank you for always using JapanKnowledge. We are pleased to inform you that new features are scheduled to be implemented in JapanKnowledge Lib in early September this year. Along with this, we would like to announce the discontinuation of the "Citation" feature.
■ About the New Features
The following two features are scheduled to be implemented:
▼ My Folder(マイフォルダ)
You will be able to temporarily register multiple bibliographic data discovered within JapanKnowledge Lib on a page called " My Folder(マイフォルダ)" [*]. In My Folder, you can sort the registered bibliographic data by date, copy, output files, and send emails.
* Note
The registration of bibliographic data is temporary. If you close the browser or tab, the registered bibliographic information will be deleted.
If user is using "My Folder" on a shared terminal, please be aware that if he/she does not close the browser or log out after use, there is a possibility that the data he/she have registered may be visible to the next user. We kindly ask admins to ensure that user log out after using the database.
▼ Bibliographic Data Copy Feature(書誌情報コピー機能)
You can copy the bibliographic data of the relevant material on the main text page.
The types of bibliographic data copied are the same as those copied by the current "Citation" feature.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please copy the quoted parts individually.
■ About the Discontinuation of the "Citation" feature.
We consider that the current "Citation" feature can be replaced by the aforementioned My Folder(マイフォルダ) and Bibliographic Data Copy Feature(書誌情報コピー機能), and we plan to discontinue it in September this year, in line with the implementation of these new features.
■ Other Information
- The update will be carried out on a date specified by JapanKnowledge.
Administrators cannot specify the timing of the update.
- In line with this update, we plan to revise brochures and user guides in the future.
- Depending on the progress of development work, the release timing may vary slightly.
